Known as Adobe's flagship product, Photoshop was introduced in 1989 for the Macintosh. Currently, the product is the "market leader for commercial bitmap and image manipulation," says Wikipedia. And in 2007, CS3 was released as Photoshop's 10th "iteration of the program."
Photoshop CS3 Extended was also released this year, which, along with all the same features, includes "capabilities for scientific imaging, 3D, and high end film and video users."
